Quoting, Embedding

You may quote / embed reasonable quantities of the content on the site in your own work as long as you provide suitable attribution. What's reasonable depends on the circumstances, but is at least 3 charts or maps per item of work. Items of work are for example a blog post, essay, article, or chapter in a book.

Suitable attribution consists of clearly and visibly linking to the page(s) containing the quoted/embedded content. Please use the most specific link possible - we provide extensive in-page links so that you can link directly to the chart / map in question. The full domain name must be clearly visible to the end user (StatisticalAtlas.com).

We do not provide an API or similar for embedding. To quote / embed, please take a screen shot of the relevant content and embed it as a regular image with a link back to the source.

If the terms above are not clear enough for your specific situation, then please ask for clarification - we want the content to be as useful and widely cited as possible, so chances are that if what you're looking to do follows the spirit of the terms described above we will be ok with it.

We may add additional sources in the future.
