Preschool:
anything before kindergarten, typically anything between ages 2 and 4

the year before first grade, typically around age 5

typically started at age 6 and lasting until age 17 or 18

Undergraduate:
in this context, it means and two or four year college, but excluding any graduate education

Graduate School:
anything above undergraduate, including pursuit of master's, professional, or doctorate degrees

owned and operated by the government

Private School:
owned and operated by a private organization, often but not always with a religious affiliation
